Margaret (Maggy) Schulze, BA, JD, RMTI Business
Maggy is a massage therapist, lawyer and teacher. She was introduced to massage therapy via her practice as a personal injury lawyer and workers' compensation specialist. In an effort to understand soft tissue, she attended the part-time program of the Scherer Institute and graduated in 1998. She used her massage skills to help care for her mother who fought cancer for 18 months before passing away. She also used her skills to provide more effective assistance of counsel to her client. Yearning to provide hands-on massage services to the public, she retired from the practice of law and how has a full-time massage therapy practice.
Maggy teaches the business class at The Scherer Institute bringing together her professional experience as an attorney as well as her personal experience gained from establishing and managing first a law firm and now a successful massage therapy practice.
Maggy’s educational background includes a B.A. in psychology from the University of Maryland in 1983, her juris doctorate degree from American University in Washington, DC in 1988 and her massage therapy certificate from the Scherer Institute in 1998.
