Amadea Morningstar, BS, MA, RPP, RPE, Communication Skills

Amadea Morningstar has been working with food, energy and healing for more than 30 years, and with Ayurvedic healing for the last twenty-two years. As a young person, she had the good fortune of receiving her very first massage from Dr. Scherer. She has served on the faculty of the Scherer Institute a number of times in the last twenty years.

She holds an MA in counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, an RPP in polarity therapy, and a BS in nutrition from UC Berkeley. As a registered polarity educator with the American Polarity Therapy Association, she teachs communication and facilitation. Her books include The Ayurvedic Cookbook (with Urmila Desai),and The Ayuvedic Guide to Polarity Therapy. Amadea has a private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico, offering Ayurvedic Polarity Therapy and nutrition education to people of all ages. Amadea enjoys travel with her family, gardening, and Tibetan Buddhist retreats.
