Chris Sherwood, RMTI, OHM, Holistic Healing Arts degree, TESAL Healing Quality of Touch

Chris is a 1991 graduate of The Scherer Institute. Since that time, massage & teaching bodywork has been her full-time professional service. Her areas of interest in holistic healing are massage, Reiki, energywork, homeopathy, ayurveda, yoga and conflict resolution. She has extensively studied Kashmir Shaivism and meditation since 1995 and has participated in extended meditation retreats in India.

As an instructor, Chris taught Nurturing, Therapeutic Massage, Group Process and Intro to Homeopathy. She currently teaches Healing Quality of Touch and her continuing education class with heated stones called "Bones of the Earth™." She has taught at various places nationwide, in addition to teaching at The Scherer Institute and The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy.

Chris is nearing completion of a BA in multi-cultural studies that has taken her to India and Japan for field study projects.
