Whether you are already an instructor or are just beginning, these workshops offer effective ways to enhance your ability to share information and foster the learning process. Each workshop will offer practical methods and processes for instructing and facilitating classes. Combined with inner work and self-learning, courses are geared toward enhancing teaching ability as well as stretching each individual’s growing edge. Topics to be addressed include:
- course planning
- organization of class material
- conflict resolution
- ethical considerations
- recognize character strategies in the self
- teaching styles
- group leadership
- role of intuition
- other interpersonal and intrapersonal topics
These courses are geared primarily for the health care profession, although the first workshop is general enough to accommodate all teaching professions. This three part series may be taken as separate workshops or in full for a total of 50 hours of teacher training. Massage therapists who are interested in pursuing the RMTI (Registered Massage Therapy Instructor) licensure may use these hours toward state requirements.
