| During the admissions process it is our goal to get to know you and to provide you with information about the school as you explore your options in the rewarding field of massage therapy.

Visit us to experience what makes Scherer’s special. People often tell us they knew this was the right school for them as soon as they walked in the door. We offer Open Houses every month with Sampler classes and free chair massage. We can also arrange a tour for you, or schedule a massage in our student clinic. We are confident that you will appreciate the “Scherer touch” and the excellent and heart-centered quality of our massage therapy program.
Steps to Apply
1. Fill out an application! An application for admission to The Scherer Institute of Natural Healing is included in our catalogue. You may also Download our application (.pdf) to mail in, or download our Word application (.doc) to e-mail in.
2. Mail us your application, your photograph, a copy of your high school or college transcript, and the $50.00 application fee. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. You may also fax us the application at 505-982-1825.
3. Interview
Once we receive your application, we will contact you to set up an interview. An interview is conducted with all applicants either in person or by phone. During your interview we will discuss your background, interests and experience with massage therapy. We will also assess your readiness for entrance into the program. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have concerning the program. We look for sincerity, professionalism and integrity in our applicants.
4. Acceptance
Our admissions staff will review your application and notify you with their decision as soon as possible. We will contact you if we require additional information.
5. Financial Information
Once you are accepted, financial arrangements may be made. Payments for tuitions and fees can be made with cash, personal check, or credit card. A $300 deposit reserves your space in the upcoming program. If you need Financial Assistance, see below.
